A couple of guys calculated the average color of the universe to be turquiose. Then it turned out they had made an error and the actual color of the universe is beige.

I would love to know why commenters enjoy slamming on this site. It seems whenever the comments are enabled there are always a few people who are outright a-holes. So what if the article is a few years old? There are a few of us who aren't glued to the internet 18 hours a day and may not have read this. Does it make you feel good to be so crass?
BTW, I believe the universe is actually Harvest Gold like the countertops in my first apartment.

Our beliefs are fairly commonplace and simple to understand. Humankind is simply materialized color operating on the 49th vibration. You would make that conclusion walking down the street or going to the store.

Anyone who has ever shopped for wall paints at Sherwin Williams could have told you this. There are *thousands* of beiges. ;)
It's fun to see how they name them. My favorite? "Urban Putty".

If the color of the universe is boring old beige, no wonder people are intrigued by bright vibrant colors.
