kottke.org posts about Laurin Dopfner

Worn away

Oh, this is wonderful: Laurin Dรถpfner took an industrial sander to objects like logs, electronics, a camera, and a walnut, shaved off 0.5 mm at a time, and made a time lapse video of the results.

This is like a full-color MRI process. Could watch it all day. (via colossal)
