The soundtrack for Wipeout XL (aka Wipeout 2097) was crazy for a video game; it featured tracks from groups like Underworld, Orbital, The Prodigy, Daft Punk, and Chemical Brothers. I had this on CD! Ripped it and played ‘em on Winamp!

I completely sucked at this game, despite spending a huge number of hours trying to get good. You're right that the soundtrack was full of bangers though.
This is practically all of my first concerts *cough* raves in one place. Had never heard of this.
Yoooo I had this on CD and I didn’t even realize it was from a video game!! This was SO influential in my appreciation for electronic music. Here I am all these years later still raving 😝
