Remember the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game? Turns out: “Kevin Bacon is not the center of Hollywood. In fact, he never has been, and almost certainly never will be.”

In case you're not familiar with Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon or how it got started (there are some head-scratching comments about this on social media), here's the Wikipedia page.

Alan Bellows

At 6 years old, I was an extra in the original Footloose, so I assert that I am one degree from Kevin Bacon.

(I did not share a scene with Mr. Bacon, but I did with John Lithgow).

I'm not an actor, but I do work in the film business. Way back in the early 90's, I worked on a student film that starred Kim Dickens (before she had an agent) who went on to costar with Kevin Bacon in Hollow Man, so if we count non-actors I have a Bacon number of 2.
