Giving this a pass. 1) Blade Runner was astounding. 2049 was a meh chase movie. The trend is not good. 2) I'm not giving money to Amazon.

I agree with you on #2 and and feel quite conflicted. Blade Runner is indeed astounding and one of my favorite movies--but so is 2049. I think it's exploring a different set of questions than the original that, to me, give it a lot of depth our current era. I know it's polarizing but maybe worth another shot?

That's twice your posts have made me go back and watch something I previously saw but was uninterested in.

"Blade Runner 2099 Trailer" isn't moving the needle for me ""Blade Runner 2099 Trailer ... starring Michelle Yeoh" is an instant click.

Same with the skateboarding video, I saw it on YouTube yesterday as "Fastest Speed On A Skateboard (new world record!)" and my clickbait alarms went off so I skipped it but "Going 94 MPH on a Skateboard (New World Record)" is impossible ignore. Seriously, 94 MPH on a skateboard is insane stuff.

Why are burying the lede on things we want people to watch?!

Right?

I would watch her read a brunch menu. Arguably a brunch menu would be superior to the Witcher prequel.
