Things That Are Good to Do. Including “admit what you don’t know”, “put the cart away”, “rest before you’re exhausted” (I often get this one wrong), and “walk home if you can”.

Analysis, commentary and jokes about returning the shopping cart and what it says about you have been done every which way, but to me it remains one of the simplest, most effective ways of identifying people I would not enjoy being around, and I am so glad to see it featured in this article.

Putting the cart away is a good start but people really need to use the self-checkout and bag their own groceries, too, if they want to demonstrate their fealty to supermarket chains and assist them paring away unnecessary employees.  It's just the right thing to do.

Wonderful list. Thank you. I expected a few dozen, but I'm glad that it was longer. I'll try to practice more of them. Here are my additions:

- Regularly uninstall Instagram from your phone (only reinstall as needed)
- Top up your transit card (Suica) early :)
