Always feeling a bit uneasy when a project like this looks AI generated both in terms of design and writing. At the very least I feel like this should be disclosed somewhere. (It was the same with Color Stories, which made rounds some months ago – there, the author added an AI disclosure quickly after launch.)

I immediately had the same thought. That itchy feeling that you're the first human eye to actually read and try to understand a sentence. And it's a major red flag that there's no "about" page, no effort to explain who is behind the site, how it was created, etc. Websites need colophons, too—especially in the age of AI—and the good ones mostly have them.
As of this moment, there are two tools that have passed the 10 upvote threshold. One is Git version control, which is not controversial. The other is a Bambu 3D printer. As a Prusa user, I don't agree with that one. (Bambu is more consumer-friendly, but there is a lively debate over which is better.)
Hmmmm.... I hesitate to go against the "yes and ..." spirit found in the best comment sections, but I looked at the lists in two fields in which I have experience and the "standards" are, indeed" widely used, but there are other brands that are just as respected and widely used so I'm not sure of the criteria for these picks.
Came here to say the same lol. This is a bit personal because I recently built a tool that is similarly reliant on data, using Claude, but hoo boy it required a) three months of research by hand and then b) creating a significant process on the backend to ensure the quality of the data. I was so concerned that users understand the amount of work and the process that I made a Method page to explain it. https://games.thisisdelightful.com/
If LLMs make some task easier, and thus take less time, I think we owe it to our users/readers/whatever to reinvest some of that time into creating a more enjoyable experience, better copy, etc.
