My wife has Tinnitus. I still remember taking her to the Apple Store — loud, noisy, full of people — over ten years ago and putting the Bose headphone on her head and telling her to flick the switch. Her eyes widening was like in the movies, such a revelation.
She has been using them ever since, also with kids screaming. The over ear design still helps with screaming toddlers. But also at the movies or a concert.
A man who buys silence for the drone of engines still hears the child's cry—the ear finds what the heart fears.
I absolutely LOVE my air pods. Use them all the time (calls, audiobooks, music, quiet, white noise, everything). And when i see people with these giant Sony/Bose/Beats headphones i just don't get it. This article helps explain their appeal for some people.
