Deodorant is locked up AND costs $19 at my local CVS! We should all be rioting in the streets.
Allllllll of this. I had to get an Rx at Walgreens the other day b/c my usual pharmacy was out of it —and all the beef jerky was under lock and key. All I could think was “I’m never coming here again”
Fantastic deep dive, explaining what I've seen so often but didn't understand. But I will say that it has impacted my shopping habits. Going into a store - especially the grocery store - feels so hostile now that I almost always order ahead and do curbside pick up. Why take more of my own time to feel so discouraged from actually being there?
