I have lived more than two score and twelve years on this Earth and somehow I didn’t know that there are two copies of the Gettysburg Address written in Lincoln’s own hand in the Library of Congress (and five overall).

Hold up—how old are you??? I thought a score was 20…
Five score and two? I'm not sure I agree with you 100% on your math work there, Jason.
Oof yeah, my math wasn't mathing. I only got a score/4 hours of sleep last night...
Makes you wonder why there are even 5. I get making a backup copy, but handwriting 4 copies seems overkill.
I gotta start clicking the links before posting 🤦♂️
The guidelines are there for your protection. 😂
Two-score and twelve reminds me of the way you say 80 in French: basically four twenties. I wonder if they do that because of the speech ... or Abe wrote it that way because of the way the French say 80. Mmm ...
Library of Congress is not part of the Smithsonian.
Oof, I did not do very well on this post. Corrected to read "there are two copies of the Gettysburg Address written in Lincoln’s own hand in the Library of Congress" instead of "there are two copies of the Gettysburg Address written in Lincoln’s own hand in the Smithsonian". Apologies for the mixup — some days it does feel like I'm 102 years old.
