I may or may not have mentally checked out and stared at this for a lot longer than neccessary.
Next time you’re in San Jose Airport Terminal B, you can check one out in person.
I just saw one of these in person in Cincinnati too, adding the analog-mechanical layer is even better if you ever get the chance
We saw one in person in London. It was outside the elevator in the lobby. Every single time we waited for or exited the elevators, we found ourselves compelled to just see what was going to happen. It's incredible.
Oddly, they have one of these in the lobby of the Wallace Hotel on the Upper West Side in NYC and I sat staring at it during a business meeting last week. (Their lounge is a great place for cocktails and live music).
Am I the only person who is annoyed that so many of these clock hand positions are impossible?
