I'm dubious about the soap-opera "amnesia" plot device. It makes me feel the previous season's storylines we cared about will be set aside until a convenient twist restores her memory in the penultimate episode. I'll start yelling at the TV if every episode is sprinkled with haunting flashbacks.

Oof - I have been pleasantly surprised by how well this show has adapted the source material thus far. But based on the trailer, this does seem like a huge departure. Here's hoping they pull it off.
