Last season was better than this season! I kid a little bit, because this year they lost their first clutch to maundering ravens*. But by having eaglets later in the season Ma and Pa avoided much harsher conditions. Last year, one eaglet died, the whole nest was constantly covered in snow. Their survival seemed like a miracle, but in reality it's just many, many years in the making. I tune every day. Often I end up leaving the tab up just to have the ambient sound in buds.

*A raven looks like a crow who just got divorced.
