Unfortunately, I see no way to download the 3D model. A shame. Of course, the Met is under no obligation to give me fun things I can 3D print or CNC, but I'm a bit disappointed anyway.
Oh wow. Wheat Field with Cypresses is my favorite painting at the Met and one of my favorite Van Gogh's. I have stood in front of it dozens of times. Being able to zoom in like this is amazing. Especially as museums have begun placing glass over oil paintings. This can ruin the visual texture which is important to the experience of seeing paintings in person.
