The Brattle theater is playing what they call the Ultimate Double Feature: “we play the first movie up until the point when the characters enter a cinema to watch a different film”, then play the entirety of that 2nd film, then finish up the 1st film.

Hot Fuzz would be a great triple feature (Point Break and Bad Boys II)

Set Me Free is a 1999 Léa Pool film (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Set_Me_Free_(1999_film)) about a girl obsessed with Anna Karina in Vire sa vie, so I guess that could be a triple feature (with The Passion of Joan of Arc) as well.

Omigosh, how cool! I would LOVE to see Donny Darko/Evil Dead. I for sure need to share this with my "local" (an hour-ish away) art-house cinema to get this idea in their heads.

Thanks for the recommendation! I went and it was great - it added an interesting extra layer to Vivre Sa Vie that I probably wouldn't have gotten otherwise.
