Sad, and grieving a little, about the passing of David Lynch. ERASERHEAD was a formative experience in my appreciation of film. TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN Episode 8 showed 'the old guy still had it.' His YouTube's showed that, mostly, he just wanted to connect.

I'm a film geek and a David Lynch fan, but Mulholland Drive is the only movie I've ever immediately bought another ticket and walked back inside the theater to see again.
Such sad news about David Lynch. The greatest of the greats. At the age of 14 I rented his films from our local video store over and over again. I still remember that buzzy, electric feeling of being inspired to the depths of my soul and feeling like anything was possible if these films existed.
Gutted. Finally got into Twin Peaks this year and my wife and I are obsessed. Guess I know what we're watching tonight : (

So sad to know that we are never going to get another Lynch movie or tv show. At least until AI can produce a convincing simulacrum.
