The Philadelphia Story is easily one of my wife's and my favorite movies of all time. My wife is ruthlessly enamored by old Hollywood glamour/style/costumes/sets/et al. She'll steal the changer and impose 30s, 40s, 50s movies like a beautiful tyrant.

The Philadelphia Story is a perfect movie.

As ever, Evan P's insight and passion and eloquence elevate an already elevated work of art. This is a remarkable film, and bless Evan (and, by extension, Jason) for calling our attention to it and then enchanting us to linger on it with the regard it deserves. Thanks for posting, Mr. K!
