All very good advice. Also: Remind yourself that his signature achievements were bog standard Republican stuff (Jeb Bush would have made significantly different SC appointments?), he did not actually cause a global pandemic, the riot, as bad as it was, was not an organized coup attempt, but a bunch of yahoos mistaking their idiot leader's attempts to repair a bruised ego as a call to arms, he has the attention span of a goldfish, he is lazy, he has surrounded himself with people who radically disagree with each other about what MAGA means, and all of the project 2025s in the world cannot be realized without someone at the steering wheel. We have survived much worse (see 1861-1865). We will survive this.
(Sorry, I know that you usually leave comments off for these posts and this is probably an accident and I should have not taken advantage of it. I really hope I'm not starting a fight. But I would really love to see people I care about panicking a bit less...)
