I recognize their CEO is describing a hypothetical feature that generates an image from a natural language prompt but the idea of engineers trying to write an image editor without interpolation is amusing.
I am just so tired of products I like having AI jammed into them for the sake of making them look good for investors or something. I so rarely find any of the gen AI features useful.
That said I’m a long time Pixelmator user, and their “ML” enhance and background remove are just great. But I’m not going to an image editor to make a creepy AI image from scratch.
