Germans are installing “plug-and-play” solar panels to decrease their electric bills. “You don’t need to drill or hammer anything. You just hang them from the balcony like wet laundry.” Collectively, they are contributing significantly to solar capacity.

It seems like you can do this in the US too, but the panels seem to be more expensive and you have to check with your electric company about two-way metering. Does anyone out there have any knowledge or expertise on this?
I just corrected my post — these panels in Germany are not feeding power back into the grid. I regret the error.
Following. Living in Florida presents us with a lot of sun. However, we require many bolts to thwart the hurricane winds.
