One of my favourite 'book design' things, is this account of how, renown designer, Derek Birdsall, went about redesigning the 'Book of Common Worship' for the Church of England. It's a beautifully constructed piece of design, and the care and thought that went in to it is beautiful.
A great read for designers… even staunch atheists…

This looks great! I would love to see future book links take me to https://bookshop.org/ to help support independent bookstores though!
