Love this. how do you decide which vintage posts to feature?
A few years ago, I scrolled through years of old posts and (privately) tagged ones that I thought were timeless and worth revisiting. Every once in awhile, I'll scroll through those entries and repost one. (I was going to link all of the posts I've reposted so far, but it seems like that broke recently...I'll fix it and include a link here.)
Ok, fixed it: https://kottke.org/tag/timeless%20posts
Spectacular. Thanks for sharing!
Saw him on his last tour when I was an undergrad at Florida State. Sublime. The only time I have seen a concert where they played the music of the performer about to appear before the show to warm up the crowd. He had a young unknown conga player named Sheila Escovedo in the band.
