I know! How was this word not in their dictionary before? I learned it over 30 years ago and use it all the time.

If you like dictionaries, I highly recommend reading Word by Word: The Secret Life of Dictionaries by Kory Stamper, a lexicographer at Merriam-Webster. It's fabulous.
