Anita Lasker (now Lasker-Wallfisch) has, through a roundabout set of circumstances, has become good friends with my mother, the daughter of German-Jewish refugees. My mum (perhaps unsurprisingly) regards her as one of the most amazing people she has ever met - fantastic company and highly energetic today, playing a key role in campaigning to save a local park. Her son, and his son, are highly accomplished musicians in their own right (Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures).
