I had a very long and difficult day at work yesterday and was looking at these images on the bus on the way home and I was completely transported. I keep returning to some of the images:
•The image of the spaceship docking with the lights flaring - this isn't science fiction! This is a real life picture! It just struck me that so few people alive will actually get to see this is real life, I've seen similar images so often in sci fi that I almost flicked straight past it.
•The image of the lightening over the clouds - it could so easily be a picture of a torch shining under a very dusty bed or over some dusty roof insulation. But it's a massive storm system on earth.
•The image of the sprite - this has to be one of the most incredible goddamned things I've ever seen in my life. What the actual foof. I have lost my words.
