I can't be the only person who kept fingers stuck in the book to mark turning points I had to go back to. I recall sometimes making the choice that would clearly lead to a quick end, just so I could reduce the number of fingers in there.

Definitely not the only one with too few fingers. I also resorted to using popsicle sticks, but it was hard to keep track of the previous decision points.
