There’s a growing taxonomy of zombie comic strips:

  • Peanuts (7 days/wk), Doonesbury (dailies): Unaltered, running in sequence X years from the past
  • For Better or For Worse: Cycling through the entire multi-decade run with minor updates, including cell phones and technology, some out-of-date terms, a little redrawing
  • Family Circus: Redrawing without rescripting
