The online resources that the Paleontological Research Institute, aka, PRI, have produced over the last 30 years are utterly fantastic for teachers, students, and life-long learners. However, PRI is in an existential crisis right now: a long-time board member that had promised them property and critical funding has reneged on his promise and they are literally on the brink of having to shut down. It has been the life’s work of the Director, Warren Allmon, who has built up PRI and built an incredibly beautiful and engaging Museum of the Earth in Ithaca, NY. It would be an incredible tragedy if they were forced to close. More information is here: https://www.priweb.org/press-releases/the-paleontological-research-institution-announces-downsizing-amidst-financial-challenges-8apwf In full disclosure, Warren Allmon is one of my closest friends, but his vision and drive to bring earth science and climate science education to the masses is really unparalleled. Please help in any way you can. Thank you, David McCormick

And thank you for sharing the tremendous work that PRI does. They are a shining example.
