We took a break from Apple TV+ a few months ago, I have too many streaming services right now. We'll probably watch as much of the 2nd season of Silo as we can (I am a huge fan of the book series and Hugh Howey's other writings). Anyone have any other suggestions on recent stuff? We've seen most of the high profile stuff, i.e. Ted Lasso, Severance, etc.
I really enjoyed Bad Sisters and Dark Matter.
I also loved Bad Sisters! I was skeptical about whether I would enjoy the second season (because the finale to the first seemed just so perfect) but ended up really liking it as well.
If you're feeling more on a documentary kick, Apple TV+ has "The Year the Earth Changed" the Attenborough narrated nature film shot during the pandemic shut downs. It was honestly the tiny glimmer of hope I needed in the middle of 2021.
Does Slow Horses count as not high profile? not sure, but I really liked Season 1, and would recommend it. I was really put off by the previews and did not want to watch it and was pleasantly surprised when I did.
"Schmigadoon!" and "Trying" are the two sleeper shows I never hear talked about. The former can easily be knocked out during the free weekend.

Kind of annoying that the press release says January 3-5 and it's not free, here, on January 3rd.
