A super-interesting-if-you-aren't-too-squeemish-about-death podcast episode by 99% Invisible (Ep 579: Towers of Silence) covers the use of of vultures in Parsis' sky burial rituals. SUPER cool stuff and it's completely wrecked the the decline of these birds.
