My most recent favorite podcast is Who Shat on the Floor at My Wedding? It's a hilarious, low-stakes, true crime show about an incident that occurred on a boat at the show hosts' wedding. Bonus: one of the hosts has an amazing kiwi accent; I was charmed every time she called herself a "ditictive."

I keep waiting for these lists to include This Day in Esoteric Political History, which is well-researched and succinct. The hosts have fun with it and are appropriately reverent when the history gets serious. I guess if more people listened, it wouldn't be esoteric anymore.
