We live 3 blocks from my 3 grand kids and their family on the north side of Chicago. The kids have many friends on their block and play up and down the sidewalks, down to their local school, and in and out of each other's houses every day. Now that they're a little older they've started riding the L to other favorite neighborhoods (Wrigley Field) on their own. We all wouldn't live anywhere else.
